Sardine Hook Block Shop NOTE: Pictured in the imagesBrooklyn jewelry and object designer Heath Wagoner was raised by a fisherman on the coast of North Carolina, so a nautical motif runs through his work; the Sardine hook depicts the small fish a symbol of abundance and adaptability caught in a piece of seaweed. Wagoner hand carved the piece in wax before having it cast in New York's Diamond District. The sardine itself is mirror polished white bronze while the seaweed wrapped around it is brass.
